Elemental Crux — Huxtropy preview August 22, 2009
The last update showed off our new Elemental Crux logo with no explanation. Well, here's one:
Elemental Crux is a new series of products from Silent7Seven Games. All with an elemental theme, they are intended to eventually get compiled into a sinlge full-sized sourcebook. As a small publisher, we don't have a timeline for the full compilation, but as often as we have a cool elemental idea, expect to see it under the Elemental Crux title.
Our first Elemental Crux product is Huxtropy, which has rules for using playing cards as a D&D weapon, using a deck of cards for damage instead of dice. Read more about it on the Elemental Crux page and/or download the free preview. The full release should be available for purchase toward the end of August or beginning of September.

Two Future Products Announced June 26, 2009
Check out our future products page for new stuff! First, there's a new race of lore-seeking constructs, and second is a magic deck of cards your character can throw.
The race is being written by David Sirois, the author of 'Blood Moon' from The Lunar Scrolls and the sketch artist for the piece from Advanced Class: Sorcerer — Aberrant Blood. You can follow him on twitter at http://twitter.com/Dodavehu.

Products on Sale, plus Power Cards May 1, 2009
Well, all three of our released products are on sale for the month of May. The Lunar Scrolls is $5 instead of $7.25, 'Favored Forms' is 70˘ instead of $1, and the 'Aberrant Blood' price remains at $1 until the end of the month (when it becomes its 'actual' price of $1.50). So, head to our RPGNow or DriveThruRPG store by clicking a banner at the bottom of our site and take advantage of the sale :) What's the occasion? Well, my birthday's in May, so that seems like reason enough.
In case you haven't heard, both our Advanced Class titles now have power card documents as free additions when you purchase them. If you've already bought either of these products, go get your power cards from your RPGNow or DriveThruRPG account page! If you were waiting to buy them because you needed the cards, well, now's your chance! And in case you were wondering, The Lunar Scrolls was originally released with power cards in-tact, so there's no need to worry on that front. In fact, it even has a printer-friendly B&W version.

'Aberrant Blood' released, and introducing the 7scale April 18, 2009
The second of our Advanced Class line is now on sale. It introduces the Aberrant Blood class feature for sorcerers, allowing you to play the twisted progeny of an aberration. It also includes several powers that remain useful throughout your character's career, plus a paragon path which is downloadable on the product page
The other exciting news is the release of the 7scale. You can read more about it on the about us page, but it's basically a warning label for complexity. Not everyone's going to enjoy the kind of weird stuff we like to make, so check out the 7scale rating and description for the product you want to buy before dropping the cash. We'd rather have no customer than a disappointed customer! We've rated our previously released products, The Lunar Scrolls and 'Favored Forms', along with the new 'Aberrant Blood', so read up on their ratings by clicking through the rating logo on their product pages or by going to the about us page and scrolling to the bottom.

"Grand Opening!" . . . er, I guess March 17, 2009
Welcome to the new online home for Silent7Seven Games. With the release of our first 'real' product, we launch our website. Advanced Class is a line that will include feats, powers, and/or other class-based goodies for expanding your character. The first installment stars the druid, and is titled 'Favored Forms'. While most druids don't prefer one animal shape to the next, you have formed a connection with a particular species or form, and in doing so you've unlocked special abilities natural to that body. Find out more about 'Favored Forms' here.
I mentioned that this is our first 'real' product, because there have already been two releases from our free Pop Creatures line. Click here to check them out!
Coming soon is The Lunar Scrolls, which will be about 30 pages, and includes four 'paragon classes'—multiclass-only classes combined with paragon paths, and one for each 4E character role. There is also a moon-based epic destiny, two pages of magic items, a page of feats, six pages of rituals, and six pages of monsters and campaign hooks. Go to The Lunar Scrolls page for more information, and a free preview of the striker paragon class.
